This is Brooki Bakehouse, a bakery specialising in oversized cookies and brownies.
Chocolate Chip Cookie ($8.50)
The cookie featured generous milk chocolate chips in a butter cookie base with a loose, large crumb. Contrary to some of the reviews online, it was cooked through without the wet, doughy raw-flour quality found in the Butter Boy cookies. The chocolate chips melted into a rich, smooth and creamy milk chocolate profile, with their sweetness pairing well with the buttery crumb.

White Choc Macadamia Cookie ($8.50)
The cookie featured macadamia and white chocolate in a thick butter cookie base, with a loose, large crumb around the exterior. The centre retained some of the dense, raw-flour quality, unsurprising given its thickness. The white chocolate melted to a smooth, creamy texture, but its sweetness dominated the already dense centre and heavy base. There was insufficient macadamia to provide enough crunch or warm nuttiness to offset the richness.
Overall, the cookies were defined by rich buttery bases and generous chocolate inclusions, with execution varying according to the thickness and balance of each flavour. The Chocolate Chip Cookie was the stronger of the two, with a properly cooked centre and a more cohesive balance between butter and milk chocolate. Better than Butter Boy, but not as strong as Kuki.
Brooki Bakehouse is located at 5/400 Barangaroo Ave, Barangaroo NSW 2000.
