This is the Lotte Choco Pie Premium Ripe Mango Tart, a summer-limited release made with fully ripe Alphonso mangoes (as powder and juice concentrate), celebrated for their concentrated sweetness.

Each box contained six individually wrapped pieces.

Each piece comprised a mango-flavoured chocolate coating encasing two layers of mango tart–style cake, sandwiching a mango custard cream and a molten core of Alphonso mango sauce. Each choco pie had a circular form, measuring 6 cm in diameter and 2 cm in height, with a pastel orange hue and a fruity aroma reminiscent of mango and cream.

On tasting, the mango chocolate coating gave a clean snap before yielding to the soft, loose-crumbed mango cake and then the custard cream and sauce. The Alphonso mango character appeared from the outset, opening mellow before deepening into the rich sweetness associated with fully ripe Alphonso fruit. This progression intensified mid-bite as the custard cream asserted itself and the chocolate began to melt. Bites taken closer to the centre carried a more concentrated sweetness due to the mango sauce. By the finish, all components softened into a cohesive melt-in-the-mouth texture, creating a distinctly mango-forward and indulgent close.

Overall, a well-constructed seasonal choco pie with a clear Alphonso profile, offering layered texture and a deepening fruit character throughout.
