This is the Oreo S’Mores, a special edition released in 2021.

Each cookie was around 4 cm in diameter and described as a ‘choc cookie sandwich with chocolate (14%) and marshmallow flavoured creme (14%)’.

Upon tasting, the marshmallow-flavoured cream had the same corn syrup sweetness as the real thing, although it did not capture the sticky fluffy qualities. The chocolate-flavoured cream had an enjoyable richness that bridges the sweetness of the marshmallow cream and the gently savoury cookies. Eaten whole, it was a very enjoyable combination with the cremes adding depth and complexity to the sweetness of usual Oreos. We preferred this s’mores version to the choc split as this one avoided the cloying chocolate syrup flavour of the former.
This Oreo S’Mores contained 133 g. It was produced in China and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2021.
