This is the Tohato Harvest Sweet Sando Chocolate Mont Blanc, a sandwich biscuit containing 4.5% choc chips, 0.07% sweetened  chestnut paste.

Each box contained eight individually sealed sandwich cookies.

The product featured two cocoa biscuits sandwiching waguri mont blanc cream with choc chips. The sandwich measured approximately 1 cm in height, with each of the three layers occupying roughly one-third of the structure.

The biscuits were circular and scallop-edged, with a medium brown hue, while the mont blanc cream presented in a beige-tan tone and the choc chips appeared dark brown. Aroma opened with a warm, nutty, lightly sweet aroma of roasted chestnut.

Initial contact delivered a rough granular texture from the sugar coating on the biscuit exterior. The biscuit crumbled rather than producing a firmer, cleaner fracture. Through the mid-palate, the biscuit yielded easily into the interior cream, releasing a rich sweetness with fine granular texture and moderate moisture. The chestnut profile leaned toward sweetened candied chestnut rather than freshly roasted waguri, carrying earthy and caramelised tones. The choc chips introduced a darker cocoa richness that tempered part of the sweetness while adding depth and slight bitterness to the profile. Aftertaste was clean, with lingering chestnut sweetness and light cocoa notes.

Overall, a sandwich biscuit with a sweet-to-dark flavour progression and a soft integrated textural development, resulting in a confectionery-like interpretation of mont blanc with moderate textural contrast.
