Through the mid-palate, the oolong’s fruit character developed with a distinct melon presence, capturing the honeyed sweetness of fresh honeydew. The profile tasted more like melon-scented oolong than added syrup. Towards the finish, this combined with the milk tea base for a creamier, smoother profile than the one from SoTea, while retaining the bright melon aroma. Aftertaste was clean.
