We’re not usually one for lemon-flavoured foods, so our enjoyment of this UHA Mikakutō Cororo Lemon caught us by surprise.
Each piece is a bright yellow colour with a sausage shape about 1.5 cm in length and 1 cm in diameter.
The gummies have a fragrant zesty lemon aroma that’s just as prominent on tasting. Biting through, the teeth meet a gentle resistance from the ‘skin’ of the gummy before sinking into a soft and thick gel that has the same strong lemon flavour as in the smell. The lemon flavour has a punchy tartness with a gentle sweetness while tiny bites of lemon peel throughout the gummy add texture as well as strong pops of zestiness for an intense lemon experience.
This UHA Mikakutō Cororo Lemon contained 40 g or 9 pieces. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Tōkyō, Japan in 2018.
