This Kasugai Mango Gumi is the mango flavour of our favourite gummy brand in Japan.
Each gummy is sealed individually in an orange coloured wrapper.
The gummy is a translucent orange colour and around 2.5 cm in diameter with a bright mango aroma. Upon tasting, the gummy has an oddly artificial chemical sweetness at the head before giving way to a more natural mango flavour as a prominent, enjoyable acidity emerged in the body and lingered into the finish. Overall, the acidity is unexpected of a usually sweet, tropical flavour, but redeems the initial artificiality powerfully, along with the enjoyable resistance to the teeth from the gummy.
This Kasugai Mango Gumi contained 107 g. It was produced in Japan and received as a gift from colleagues in Sydney, Australia in 2020.
