We enjoyed the Baileys Coffee Pods Original so much we returned for their mocha variation in this Baileys Coffee Pods Mocha

These pods come gold and constructed from plastic unlike the aluminium ones from Nespresso.

Extracted using the espresso (40 ml) setting, the shot is a translucent brown-black with an intense boozy aroma of Irish cream. To this, the packaging recommends adding 200 mL of milk — either cold or steamed — for either a hot or iced coffee, with sugar added to taste. The resulting coffee contained 0.01% alcohol.

As with the original flavour, when prepared according to the recommendations, the volume of milk dilutes the richness of the coffee and Irish cream flavour. We also prefer drinking it iced and adding less milk — 150 mL — for a coffee that’s creamy with rich chocolate notes coming through at the head of each sip before the bolder roasted notes of the coffee emerged in the body ahead of an enjoyable Irish cream flavour in the finish that lingered in the aftertaste. Compared to the original flavour, the mocha has a richer and fuller body.
This Baileys Coffee Pods Mocha contained 50 g or 10 pods. It was produced in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2020.
