This UHA Mikakutō Cororo Golden Pineapple is flavoured using only pineapple juice at 5.5 times concentration of 7.3 g of the total weight of 40 g.
Each gummy is a golden brown colour with a sausage shape about 1.5 cm in length and 1 cm in diameter.
The gummies had a sweet pineapple aroma with a hint of acidity, with the flavour coming through just with an enjoyable sweetness after biting through the ‘skin’ that gave a little resistance to the teeth. After a bit of chewing, the gentle acidity of the tropical pineapple flavour came to prominence in the body, and together with the bouncy crispness of the gummy, recalled the crunch of fresh pineapple. Overall, we enjoyed these gummies for their well-balanced sweetness and acidity as well as their enjoyable texture.
