Sanko Seika Nīgata Shikomi Nori Shio

This is the Sanko Seika Nīgata Shikomi Nori Shio.

Each bag contained 15 individually sealed packs each with two crackers.

Each cracker measured approximately 6 cm in diameter and 2.5 mm in thickness, emitting a distinct savoury seaweed aroma. Upon tasting, the delicate dusting of salt atop the cracker’s surface introduced a robust initial savoury sensation. This flavour was elevated by the infusion of umami notes from the seamlessly integrated seaweed, a characteristic that deepened with every subsequent bite. While the crackers delivered a gratifying and satisfying crunch, the seaweed flavour was, in comparison, somewhat restrained in its impact. When weighed against the potency of the senbei infused with soy sauce and enveloped in a layer of nori, such as the Kameda Seika Ume no Ka Maki, these crackers fell slightly short of delivering the boldness we desired. Consequently, the overall experience didn’t compel us to consider repurchasing this particular variant.

This Sanko Seika Nīgata Shikomi Nori Shio contained 93 g or 12 packages each with 2 pieces. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2022.
