This is the Dairy Farmers Thick & Creamy Layered Yoghurt Queensland Mango & Australian Fingerlime. It was part of a range introduced in early 2024 showcasing Australian fruit and native ingredients. This one contained 4.0% mango purée and 0.05% fingerlime extract.
The fruit layer rested at the base of the tub, displaying a bright orange hue. Upon tasting, the smooth mango purée delivered a vibrant tropical flavor with a gentle sweetness. Although the fingerlime was present, its acidity was subtle, adding a hint of brightness to the mango sweetness. The fingerlime’s presence was only noticeable when eating the purée by itself. Otherwise, when eaten together, its subtlety was overshadowed by the yogurt’s typical tartness. While we appreciated the overall flavor, we would opt to repurchase the more unique strawberry and wattleseed flavour instead.
