The gelato presented with a pink hue with red and black specks, alongside a dense and creamy texture. Initial contact delivered a concentrated red kiwi profile, leaning towards sweet berry-like fruit tones rather than sharp citrus or green kiwi tartness. The fruit character carried cleanly between bites without notable weakening. Sweetness sat in balance with a gentle fruit-derived acidity, producing a fresh profile without leaning into pronounced sourness or sharpness. The finish remained light and refreshing, with the fruit character tapering cleanly rather than lingering heavily.
Overall, a fruit-forward gelato with sustained red kiwi sweetness, moderate acidity balance, and high structural density.
A complementary tasting of the rice flavoured gelato suggested an unexpected milky-dairy impression. Other flavours available were less compelling at the time, though green apple and lychee were potential return points.
