The cider is a pale straw colour with a tart apple nose and well carbonated. Served chilled, crisp notes of fresh apple came through ahead of a prominent carbonation with sweet apple notes developing in the body before a moderately dry and lightly acidic finish and a clean aftertaste.
We’re pleased that the flavour profile of this cider matches the description perfectly, with the sweetness coming from the Red Delicious, the carbonation from the Pink Lady and the tartness from the Granny Smith apples. Indeed, we’re surprised by how much we enjoyed this cider considering its higher alcohol content at 8%.
