This is the Ito En Tully’s Coffee Smooth Latte Less Sweet. This was released as part of a series addressing the recent rise in health consciousness, and diversified milk preferences. It used oat milk and Arabica coffee beans, with no added sugar.

The beverage had an opaque brown hue and a sweet iced coffee aroma. Consumed chilled, it initially presented a slight sweetness from the milk but quickly developed into a mellow flavour reminiscent of a more gently sweetened Suntory Boss Coffee Iced Double Espresso. While the milk notes were evident, the coffee flavour lacked boldness and the mouthfeel was very thin, resulting in a taste akin to watered-down coffee, with a notable bitterness emerging towards the finish alongside aromatic notes, again reminiscent of the Suntory Boss Coffee Iced Double Espresso. However, the lack of body and flavour meant there was almost no aftertaste. The beverage was smooth primarily due to lack of coffee presence. This was not a beverage worth repurchasing.
This Ito En Tully’s Coffee Smooth Latte Less Sweet contained 430 mL. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
