This is the Kagome Yasai Seikatsu 100 Aomori Apple Mix, a 100% juice blend consisting of 50% fruit juice and 50% vegetable juice. The fruit component included grapes, lemons, and apples, with the apple portion derived from 59% Ōrin apples and 41% Fuji apples, both sourced from Aomori Prefecture. The vegetable component featured a diverse mix of carrots, bell peppers, komatsuna, kale, broccoli, spinach, asparagus, red shiso, daikon, Chinese cabbage, celery, Brussels sprouts, purple cabbage, beets, onions, lettuce, cabbage, parsley, watercress, and pumpkin.
Despite apples comprising less than 50% of the total juice, their flavour dominated, with the juicy sweetness of Fuji apples and the tropical honeyed notes of Ōrin apples coming through prominently. However, the overall taste was not that of pure apple juice. The vegetable blend introduced a subtle dilution and added layers of complexity, with the carrot sweetness being the most discernible. This combination offered a bright, balanced apple flavour, complemented by the underlying vegetable notes, making the juice an approachable way to enjoy vitamins from a wide array of sources.
