We picked up this T2 Mango Cucumber during the seemingly endless summer of 2019-2020.
The tisane is a blend of apple, rosehip, mango bits, pineapple bits, papaya bits, natural cucumber flavouring, kiwi, cornflower petals, rose petals and sunflower petals.
Infusing 3.5 g of the tisane in 200 mL of just-boiled water for 5 minutes, the infusion was a transparent pale yellow colour with a crisply sweet tropical aroma. Served hot, the crisp sweetness of cucumber came through before the tropical notes of the mango develop in the body with a deeper, yet still mellow, sweetness that lingered through to a gentle floral finish with the mango tones. Overall, the tisane has a distinctly cool mouthfeel that persists throughout the sip and was evident when hot but becomes most pronounced when enjoyed chilled. It’ll be perfect for the summer months.
