Beef Noodle Soup ($24.00)
The bowl came together as a beef broth noodle soup with sliced beef and wheat noodles.
Initial contact delivered a rich beefy broth profile supported by noodles with a firm al dente chew. The soup carried noticeably more depth and satisfaction than lighter protein-free Korean noodle broths due to the inclusion of sliced beef and stronger meat flavour extraction. Through the mid-palate, the beef broth developed rounded savoury depth while remaining relatively clean rather than heavily fatty. The noodles retained elasticity and bite throughout the meal without softening excessively in the broth. Texture combined the tender sliced beef with the springier noodles and hot broth, resulting in a cohesive and comforting structure. While the quantity of beef felt somewhat restrained relative to the bowl size, the overall portion still remained satisfying.

Spicy Beef Noodle Soup ($25.00)
The dish came together as a spicy beef broth noodle soup with sliced beef and wheat noodles.
Initial contact delivered a rich beef broth supported by noodles with a firm, al dente chew. The chilli contributed an enjoyable moderate warmth that complemented rather than overwhelmed the beef, allowing the broth to retain its rounded, savoury character. Through the mid-palate, the spice gradually built while the broth remained relatively clean, avoiding excessive oiliness or heaviness. The sliced beef was tender, and the noodles maintained their elasticity throughout the meal, combining with the broth to produce a cohesive and comforting structure.
Compared with the Kimchi Pork Rib Kalguksu from Jeon & Kalguksu Jip in Lidcombe, however, the broth lacked the same layered complexity. The absence of clam-derived brininess and the fermented depth of kimchi resulted in a more straightforward beef profile, making this a satisfying but less nuanced interpretation of a spicy Korean noodle soup.

Raw Beef Bowl ($25.00) — mixed purple grain rice, raw beef, salad greens, seaweed, scallions, gochujang, and sesame oil.
The bowl came together as a layered mixed rice format combining raw beef, vegetables, aromatics, and Korean condiments.
Initial contact delivered immediate savoury richness from the raw beef and sesame oil alongside fresh vegetal crunch from the lettuce and scallions. The mixed grain rice provided substantial chew and nuttiness beneath the softer beef texture. Through the mid-palate, the components integrated particularly well once mixed together. The raw beef contributed soft tenderness while the purple grain rice introduced sustained chew and structure. Scallions sharpened the profile with fresh onion bite, seaweed added savoury marine notes, and sesame oil contributed aromatic richness that tied the bowl together cohesively. The gochujang provided continuous warming heat that built steadily across the palate without overwhelming the underlying flavours. Despite the generous quantity of sauce used, the balance remained controlled enough for the freshness of the vegetables and softness of the beef to remain clearly distinguishable. Finish resolved into lingering sesame, chilli warmth, and savoury beef richness. Aftertaste carried persistent but manageable chilli heat alongside aromatic sesame oil and rice sweetness.

Overall, a casual Korean comfort-food venue defined by balanced savoury depth and satisfying textural layering, with their generous portions and well-balanced Korean flavour profiles making it particularly effective for hearty everyday dining.
