These Smith’s American Pulled Pork are part of the same series as the Chinese Peking Duck flavour.
We weren’t sure as to the distinctive flavour pulled pork was meant to replicate but these have a rich cheese and bacon smell and taste that recalled a flavour somewhere between the Arnott’s Shapes Cheese & Bacon of our childhood and the Glico Giant Pretz Mustard & Sausage. That’s to say, it had a very meaty, savoury flavour the peaked mid-bite. It’s a very moreish flavour, but not one I’d immediately identify as pulled pork, although the association of the flavour with other bacon and sausage flavoured products does suggest pork.
This Smith’s American Pulled Pork contained 150 g. It was produced in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2018.
