Cadbury Dairy Milk with Oreo Double Choc

Collaborations are an easy way to some excitement into an established product, and these were Cadbury Dairy Milk with Oreo Double Choc. It swaps out the vanilla creme in the standard Oreos for a chocolate to create a milk chocolate with smooth chocolate flavoured crème and Oreo biscuits pieces.

The overload of chocolate in the enrobing chocolate, the chocolate creme and the chocolate biscuit makes for an intensely chocolate-y experience of varied textures and it works. The vanilla creme has a softer, smoother mouthfeel than the enrobing chocolate, while the Oreo biscuits bring an addictive crunch to the chocolate bar. That said, the overall experience is not at all like eating an oreo as the sweetness of the chocolate overwhelms or there’s not quite enough of the biscuit for the unsweetened savoury flavour of Oreos to came through.

This Cadbury Dairy Milk with Oreo Double Choc contained 180 g. It was produced in Australia and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2017.
