This is the Glico Papico Otona no Hanayaka Strawberry, containing 40% strawberry juice and pulp. The juice was sourced from Chile, while the pulp came from China.

The fruit sherbet came in two soft plastic bottles, with the tops easily torn off for access. It had an opaque pink hue with visible red flecks throughout.
Upon tasting, the sherbet’s thick consistency made it easy to push or suck out of the packaging. The strawberry flavour was immediate and rich, thanks to the high juice and pulp content, offering a delightful balance of sweetness and sourness, much like cooked down, ripe, fresh strawberries. The smooth juice base was interspersed with pockets of pulp, adding both texture and bursts of concentrated strawberry flavour.
Overall, this was a refreshing and enjoyable sherbet with an impeccable balance of sweetness and tartness, appealing to an adult palate. It was worth repurchasing.
This Glico Papico Otona no Hanayaka Strawberry contained 160 ml (80 ml x 2). It was produced in Japana and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
