Following the success of their original store in Belmore, Hòa Hưng Tofu opened a second location in Cabramatta. While many of their products are available in Asian grocers across Sydney, there’s an unparalleled experience in receiving freshly prepared goods, many still warm upon delivery.

This is the Soy Drink Sweetened ($4.00/2 L bottle; 2 or more bottles, $3.50/2L bottle) from Hòa Hưng Tofu.

Freshly made on site, the bottle was hot to the touch when handed to us. Once chilled, the soy drink had an opaque off-white hue and a nutty fragrance of soybeans. On tasting, it offered a remarkably smooth and creamy texture with a pronounced soybean flavour, indicative of its high soybean content. Although we initially preferred the unsweetened version, which was unavailable, the sweetened soy milk pleasantly surprised us with its gentle sweetness. Unlike other brands, it did not taste sugary and left a clean aftertaste. We’ve repurchased this sweetened version many times.
