This is the Kanro Puré Gumi Premium Yamagata Sato Nishiki Cherry. It used the juice of Sato Nishiki cherries, which are well known for their sweet and juicy flavour.

Each piece had a heart shape, measuring about 3 x 2.5 x 0.5 inches, with a pink-red colour and a sweet cherry aroma. The cherry scent was natural, not artificial like most cherry-flavoured candies, resembling the aroma of fresh fruit. When tasted, the initial sourness from the crystals on the gummy’s surface transitioned to a gentle and enjoyable sweet cherry flavour, matching the subtle aroma of the gummy. The gummy’s texture was both bouncy and soft, offering a pleasing contrast. The soft pureed center intensified the sweet-tart taste of the fresh cherries. Importantly, the gummies didn’t stick to teeth and left a clean aftertaste. Like the other flavours in this series, the appealing texture and taste of these gummies make them worth buying again.
