The beverage featured a transparent beige hue with a delicate lychee aroma and gentle carbonation. When consumed chilled, the lychee flavour came through at the start of each sip, marked by restrained sweetness and a focus on the fruit’s natural acidity. Mid-sip, a delicate hint of spice boosted the aromatic notes of the lychee, adding complexity. The mellow lychee flavour, combined with limited sweetness, the presence of diluted black tea, and a subtle undertone of electrolytic savouriness contributed to a light mouthfeel into the finish. Overall, while less rich than other lychee beverages, such as Yeo’s, this drink excelled in offering a refreshing and clean finish, making it particularly suitable for hot summer days.
