This is the Koikeya Lunch Pie Delicious Pizza.

Each box contained two bags, each with three rectangular pieces, measuring approximately 3 x 2.5 x 2 cm.

The pies had a golden-brown, glossy surface with a small hole at the base where the pizza filling was piped in. They emitted a piquant aroma of Parmesan cheese.
Upon tasting, the puff pastry was light, flaky, and slightly savoury and lightly buttery, with no greasiness. The sugar syrup glaze did not add noticeable sweetness. The filling was an opaque orange with visible basil specks, but its flavour was more subtle than the strong aroma suggested. The pizza filling was a well-balanced blend of tomato, cheese, and basil, with a mild lingering spice. Initially cool, the filling melted quickly on the palate. The flaky pastry and rich, cheesy filling made these snacks very satisfying, though the small quantity in each box left us wanting more.
This Koikeya Lunch Pie Delicious Pizza contained 33 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
