This is the Lupicia Jingle Bells, part of Lupicia’s Christmas 2024 seasonal range and included in the Joyeux Noël tea bag set.

The blend featured black tea scented with flavours of refreshing grape and fruity sparkling wine.

Steeping a 2.5 g tea bag in 200 mL of water at 85ºC for three minutes produced an infusion of golden-brown hue with a vibrant, uplifting muscat aroma.

When consumed hot, the tea opened with aromatic muscat notes at the head of each sip, which lingered through to mid-sip before giving way to a gentle fruity sweetness from the smooth black tea base. The finish was clean, with minimal astringency or bitterness. The tea’s pronounced fruitiness—capturing the lively flavour of muscat without added sweetness—made for a rounded and festive cup.

Overall, a festive black tea with bright muscat and sparkling fruit notes, smooth and naturally sweet in tone.

This Lupicia Jingle Bells contained 2.5 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sendai, Japan in 2024.
