These Morinaga Amaou Strawberry Caramel are a fruity take on the original milk caramel. Amaou strawberries are famous for their well-rounded, large-sized fruit as well as their shiny red flesh and sweet flavour. While these strawberries are produced only in Fukuoka Prefecture, these caramels were available throughout Japan.

Each box contained 12 individually foil-wrapped caramels.

Each caramel is an opaque pink colour, approximately 1.5 x 1.5 x 1 cm in size with a sweet strawberry aroma. These have the same firmness at room temperature and softness on the teeth as the milk caramels. As its chewed, the caramels release a juicy, strawberry flavour with gentle acidity and prominent sweetness that recalled the natural sweetness of strawberries at peak ripeness.
This Morinaga Amaou Strawberry Caramel contained 60 g or 12 pieces. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Tōkyō, Japan in 2018.
