This is the Nespresso Limited Edition Peanut and Roasted Sesame Flavour, a festive blend for the 2024 holiday season created in collaboration with world-renowned chef Jean Imbert.
The coffee features a 100% Arabica base blend, combining naturally sweet beans from Brazil with lively, washed beans from Colombia. The beans underwent a split roast: the Colombian beans were roasted medium-dark and quickly to enhance their sweetness, while Brazillian beans were roasted slightly longer to develop a velvety texture. The peanut and roasted sesame flavour was added after roasting.

The capsules came in an orange design adorned with a gold stitch pattern. Being a flavoured coffee, it did not carry an intensity rating.

Prepared as a lungo, following Nespresso’s recommendations, the coffee exhibited a semi-translucent brown-black hue with a sweet, nutty aroma. Alternatively, it could be extracted as a short shot for a cappuccino.
When served black with a 1:1 water-to-espresso ratio, the coffee opened with a soft caramel sweetness, transitioning into rich notes of toasted sesame. These developed further with warm toasted peanut flavours and prominent cereal undertones. Moderate acidity emerged mid-sip, accompanied by a return of the initial caramel notes.
Overall, this was an enjoyable festive coffee with a toasty and nutty flavour profile, minimal bitterness, and a touch of acidity for balance.
This Nespresso Limited Edition Peanut and Roasted Sesame Flavour contained 49 g (10 capsules). It was produced in Switzerland and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
