This is the Starbucks by Nespresso Single Origin Coffee Colombia.

The coffee is a medium-roast with an intensity of 7 out of 13 and comes in an orange capsule with a dot in Starbuck’s signature green.

The espresso was a translucent brown-black colour with a medium, nutty aroma. Prepared as a long black with a 1:1 water to espresso ratio, gentle floral notes came through at the head of each sip and develop with nutty notes in the body that lingered through to the finish. The coffee has a round body with the floral notes adding depth and interest, while the medium roast achieving a happy balance between bitterness and acidity. It’s not often that I encounter a coffee so well balanced.

This Starbucks By Nespresso Single Origin Coffee Colombia contained 10 x 5.7 g capsules. It was produced in Switzerland and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2019.
