Unlike the grape version, the rice flour flavour remained subdued here, as the strength of the mikan carried through consistently. The texture still broke down into a paste-like consistency rather than melting, but the bold citrus flavour masked the heaviness enough to make the overall experience more palatable.

Overall, it succeeded better than the grape version thanks to the strong, lasting mikan flavour, though the dense texture remained a limitation.
