Tarami Torokeru Ajiwai Gohobi Shine Muscat Jelly

This is the Tarami Torokeru Ajiwai Gohobi Shine Muscat Jelly. It contained juice from Shine Muscat grapes grown in Nagano Prefecture.

The jelly was a translucent light green hue, with pieces of aloe ranging from 1 to 2 cm in size suspended throughout, and emitting a delightful, sweet floral aroma of Shine Muscat grapes. Upon tasting, the agar-based jelly offered a soft texture that melted in the mouth, leaving a lingering viscosity on the palate. Its flavour echoed its aroma, presenting richly sweet muscat notes with tropical hints of mango, balanced by a subtle acidity. The generous bits of aloe flesh provided a crisp crunch with a gentle acidity, while absorbing the flavour of the Shine Muscat grapes. Overall, this jelly was a delicious celebration of Shine Muscat grapes, elevating it above the standard grape jelly by Tarami with elegance and flavour.

This Tarami Torokeru Ajiwai Gohobi Shine Muscat Jelly contained 200 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
