The beef was evident with a noticeable minced texture, while the bits of béchamel that stuck to the side of the container provided a moreish chewy crunch. The use of durum wheat semolina pasta sheets resulted in a firmer texture that held its shape well, offering an al dente bite that contrasted nicely with the softness and creaminess of the sauce. Overall, this was an enjoyable lasagne. Though it is pricey for a single meal, it was a far superior ready-to-eat option compared to most versions available in the freezer section.
