LinLin Postickers has been serving potstickers, known as wotip in Cantoense—dumplings that are steamed on one side and pan-fried on the other—at markets and festivals across New South Wales since 2018.

While they continue to operate market stalls, including a regular presence at the weekly Chatswood Mall Market, they expanded in 2024 with a small hole-in-the-wall eatery opposite Chatswood Chase. The shop offers a variety of noodle and side dishes in addition to their signature potstickers.

Diners can opt for a half/half mix of two varieties for an additional $1.00.

Classic Pork and Chives ($16.90)

The potstickers had a crisp, lacy base and a generous, juicy filling of pork and chives. However, the wrapper was on the thicker side, with the steamed portion at the top slightly too soft for preference.

Chicken with Roasted Corn ($16.90)

The chicken mince was well-seasoned and juicy, pairing well with the sweetness of the roasted corn. However, these potstickers could have used a couple more minutes in the pan, as the wrappers were noticeably wetter and doughier than the pork and chive version, verging on undercooked.

The homemade chilli oil provided an aromatic, flavourful heat that complemented the potstickers, while the garlic oil was mellow yet deeply savoury, enhancing the underlying flavours.

The potstickers were flavourful, but thinner wrappers and a longer pan-frying time would have improved the texture, making them crisper and drier.
