This is the T2 Earl Grey.

The tea is a loose leaf black tea flavoured with bergamot.

Steeping 3 g of looseleaf in 200 mL of water at 85°C, the infusion was a clear, deep amber colour with a fragrant bergamot aroma. Served hot, the bergamot notes came through bright at the head of each sip with a hint of sourness at the beginning that’s swiftly replaced by the sharp, intense citrus notes of the oil in the rind of the fruit before a moderate astringency in the finish. This tea is more enjoyable with milk as the intensity of the bergamot is such that it leaves a slight tingling on the tongue and isn’t quite countered by the usual boldness of the black tea base.

This T2 Earl Grey contained 100 g. It was packed in China and received as a gift from acquaintances in Sydney, Australia in 2019.
