This is the Glico Pocky Heartful Blueberry, the 2021 release in the ‘Share Happiness’ series.

Each bag contained 2 individually sealed bags each containing 10 Pocky.

These Pocky consisted of a pink coloured and unflavoured heart-shaped pretzel enrobed with blue coloured chocolate flavoured with freeze-dried blueberry. Each pretzel was 13 cm and about 7 mm at its widest.

These Pocky had a sweet and fruity aroma. Upon tasting, the pretzel was crisp with a gentle sweetness while the blue enrobing chocolate delivered an immediate berry dimension to the sweetness. As it melted, the berry flavour became distinguishable as blueberry as the freeze-dried powder gave a subtle ‘zing’ on rehydration and delivered an enjoyable acidity that recalled fresh blueberry. Overall these were enjoyable Pocky with a balanced sweetness and acidity, much like their tsubu tsubu strawberry flavour.

This Glico Pocky Heartful Blueberry contained  54.6 g or 2 bags. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2021.
