This is the Auro Chocolate Single Origin 32% White Chocolate, crafted from single origin cacao beans grown by farmers in Davao, Philippines. It has received multiple accolades, including Gold in the Tree-to-Bar White category at the 2020 Academy of Chocolate Awards and Silver in the Plain/Origin White Chocolate category at the 2019 International Chocolate Awards (Asia-Pacific).

The bar had a uniform, opaque pale yellow-white tone and broke with a clean, crisp snap. The texture was exceptionally smooth and buttery, melting easily on the tongue. Flavour-wise, it delivered a sweet, creamy profile with a pronounced yet well-integrated fresh milk note. Subtle vanilla undertones elevated the overall flavour, enhancing both sweetness and depth without tipping into cloying territory.
While not typically within our preferred chocolate category, it was evident that this was a well-executed white chocolate of high quality. Overall, a well-crafted white chocolate with a smooth texture, balanced sweetness, and elegant vanilla and milk notes—recommended for white chocolate aficionados.

This Auro Chocolate Single Origin 32% White Chocolate contained 60 g. It was produced in the Phillipines and received as a gift from acquaintances visiting the Phillipines in 2025.
