It contained 84% popcorn, dusted in a fine orange and white seasoning that included 0.1% natural lime flavour and 0.3% chilli.

Upon tasting, the popcorn had a fluffy texture with a moderate crunch. Initially, savoury onion and garlicky quality came through, followed by a noticeable heat from the chilli that emerged and lingered at an enjoyable, tingling level of spiciness. The finish was marked by a tangy lime flavour, reminiscent of the fruit’s sour, juicy notes rather than its zestiness.

Overall, the chilli and lime seasoning achieved a perfect balance in this savoury popcorn flavour. However, we found ourselves leaning towards the comforting taste of butter-flavoured popcorn.
