When tasted, the lime notes — zesty without being overly sour — and the inherent corn chip flavour took the lead, spanning from the initial bite to the finish. These were complemented by a savoury yet somewhat unremarkable medley of spices, including paprika, parsley, and onion. The presence of chilli emerged as the faintest, easily-missed hint in the finish, offering a subtle touch of heat. On the whole, the flavouring of these chips left much to be desired, appearing different from the red-orange seasoning depicted on the packaging, which had suggested a more robust spiciness.
