This is the Ingham’s Wing Pieces Soy Cola , a limited-time offering available at Woolworths in March 2024. A 2 kg bag contained 80% chicken  and 20% marinade. The wings were cooked by baking in a fan-forced oven preheated to 190ºC on a lightly greased oven tray for 35 minutes, turning once.

To our surprise, the wing pieces did not resemble those depicted on the packaging. Even more disappointing was the fact that the entire bag contained only drumettes, with not a single midwing in sight. The promised “soy cola flavour” was conspicuously absent; instead, the wings tasted predominantly of soy sauce marinade, with no discernible hint of cola sweetness or caramelized flavour. The marinade lacked depth and failed to permeate the meat of the wings. Overall, this preparation fell short of expectations and is not worth repurchasing, even if it were available for a longer period.
