This is the Kikkoman Soy Milk Drink Black Tea. It features soy milk infused with Earl Grey tea leaves, with soybean solids comprising at least 4%.
The beverage was an opaque tan hue, with the soybean flavour having a pronounced presence in the first half of each sip than in other flavoured soy milk in the series. However, by mid-sip, the aromatic fragrance of the Earl Grey began to assert itself reaching its peak presence in the finish, where it lingered briefly on the palate before a moderate astringency from the black tea settled in as an aftertaste. The mouthfeel mirrored that of regular soy milk—smooth and slightly viscous, though not creamy – with a gentle sweetness. Overall, the subtle tea flavour elevated the soy milk, imparting milk tea vibes despite the initial dominance of the soy milk flavour. If opting for the 1-litre version, it would be ideal for crafting bubble tea at home with some pearls.
This Kikkoman Soy Foods Soy Milk Drink Black Tea contained 200 mL. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2024.
