This is the Nippon Yell Gummy Tōkyō Tōkyō Gold Kiwi, made with purée from Tōkyō Gold kiwi, a cultivar native to Tōkyō and registered in 2013.

The gummies were dome-shaped, approximately 2 cm in diameter and 1 cm in height, with an opaque green colour and a sweet-tangy kiwifruit aroma.

On tasting, the surface sour crystals gave a light tang, followed by a firm, bouncy chew that softened into a jelly-like centre. The kiwifruit flavour emerged with moderate tartness, gradually developing a juicy, rounded sweetness as the core dissolved. The finish carried a mild sour note from the crystals, balancing the sweetness. While these gummies conveyed the gentle tartness and ripe character of Tōkyō Gold kiwi well, they lacked the brightness and intensity found in the Kōryoku Kiwi Gummy.
