This is the Koikeya The Sozai no Gochisō Potato.

It consisted of thick cut (1-1.5 mm), slow and kettle-cooked chips seasoned with salt and sesame oil.

Upon tasting, the delicate dusting of fine salt on these chips provided an initial subtle savoury quality. Soon after, the notes of sesame oil began to surface in the body of the chip, introducing an aromatic depth and a warm nutty undertone. The interplay of these complementary flavours not only enhanced the original potato flavour that came to prominence in the latter part of each bite but also left a satisfying richness that persisted through the finish. In summary, the exceptional thickness of these kettle-cooked chips, along with their incredible crunch and the robust flavour of the potato, made for a highly enjoyable snacking experience that beckoned us to reach for another chip.
