The Asahi Calpis Blend Rich Melon is a beverage made with up to 10% fruit juice, featuring two varieties of red-fleshed melons blended with “rich Calpis” milk sauce.

The drink had an opaque pastel green colour and a mellow, sweet melon aroma. When served chilled, the red-fleshed melon flavours were immediately evident, offering a refreshing sweetness that deepened into an aromatic richness. This was accompanied by a juicy acidity reminiscent of the syrupy, intensely flavoured inner part of a melon near the seeds, which emerged prominently in the finish. The milk sauce base provided a creamy, rich mouthfeel that complemented the melon flavours without overpowering them or introducing overly milky notes. The result was a well-balanced beverage that highlighted the melons’ vibrant flavours.
