Infusing 4-5 g in 200 mL of water at 98°C for 5 minutes yields a translucent deep straw coloured liquor with a bright citrus nose. Served hot, the infusion tastes like a sweet version of its smell, with notes of zesty lemon and grapefruit as well as tangy lime ahead of the sweeter notes of orange and tangerine in the body. Served chilled, bright, tropical pineapple notes came through for a slightly effervescent finish making it a refreshing beverage to cool down with on a summer’s day.
