Pepero is Korea’s answer to Japan’s Pocky. More precisely, this Lotte Pepero Original is their answer to the Glico Pocky Chocolate.

doesn’t tolerate warmer temperatures very well unlike Pocky. The chocolate discoloured and melted slightly over an Australian summer even when stored in a cool dark place. Taste while, the flavour of the chocolate is a sweet dark chocolate with a chalky texture, while the biscuit is crispy. Overall, the flavour of the biscuit is comparable to Pocky but it lacked the creamy texture of the darker chocolate notes of Pocky.
This Lotte Pepero Original contained 180 g or 5 bags each with 16 pieces. It was produced in South Korea and gifted by family visiting Hong Kong in 2016.
