Following the pink guava, pomegranate and mango, we thought we’d tried all the flavours. But returning the next day, we find this Kushi Premium Lychee Juice taking pride of place where the pomegranate bottles were. This one contained 25% juice from 22 lychees.
The juice is a translucent off-white colour with a fragrant nose of sweet lychees. Served chilled, the natural flavour of ripe lychees comes sweet in the head before developing with its characteristic floral notes into the body ahead of a hint of acidity in the finish and leaving a pleasant floral lychee aftertaste lingering. We’re very impressed by the natural flavour of this lychee juice, which takes its flavour from fruit juice of 22 lychees without the addition of grape juice as is often the case.
