Thi is the Glico Pretz Hokkaidō Butter and is flavoured with 6% butter manufactured by Yostuba Milk Industry in Hokkaidō.
These were mini boxes, so each box contained one cream coloured bag rather than the usual two.
Each bag contained around ~20 biscuit sticks.
The Pretz is a very pale yellow colour with a rich buttery fragrance coupled with a prominent sweetness. Upon tasting, a more moderated sweetness allows the rich butter to come to the fore for a more balanced taste than its bold aroma suggests. That said, the butter notes are not particularly noteworthy and the bold sweet aroma is quite offputting, much like the cultured buttered versions. We very much prefer the deeper taste flavour of the Pretz Butter.
This Glico Pretz Hokkaidō Butter contained 23 g. It was produced in Japan and purchased in Saitama, Japan in 2018.
