This Tsit Wing Rose Jasmine Tea combines two of my favourite florals in the one tea.
The tea is in tea bag form and contained a blend of jasmine scented green tea and 8 mini rose buds.
Steeping one 2.5 g teabag in 200 mL of water at 80°C for 2 minutes, the infusion was a clear straw colour with a pleasant floral aroma that reminds one of walking through a botanical garden. Served hot, gentle notes of soft rose came through at the head of each sip with a mellow sweetness before the dewy notes of jasmine develop in the body. The more dominant, yet delicate, rose notes return ahead of a clean finish.
This Tsit Wing Rose Jasmine Tea contained 10 x 2.5 g tea bags. It was produced in China and received as a gift from family visiting from Hong Kong in 2019.
