This Bhuja Chip Mix Tandoori Delight is the second of three flavours in the Chip Mix series after the butter chicken. They’re described as ‘a delectable mix of veggie chips, legume chips, potato crunchers and bombay chips infused with tandoori flavour’.
These chips are dusted in an orange red seasoning with a tandoori aroma that recalled the fragrant smells from good Indian restaurants. Upon tasting though, the flavour was far more mellow — a slight disappointment after the pungency promised in the aroma — with a smoky savoury flavour with hints of cayenne that build to a gentle heat after eating many chips in succession, as well as a pleasant hint of creamy acidity. We enjoy the crunch of the ridged Bombay chips and the veggie chips the most, although we’d enjoy a punchier seasoning overall
