This Nespresso Envivo Lungo is one of the few capsules designed specially for preparing as a lungo. It’s a dark roasted blend of an Arabica from India with a Robusta from Meixco.
It has an intensity of 9 out of 12 and comes in a red ochre capsule.
Prepared as a lungo, the coffee had a bold woody aroma that came through as gently caramelised on tasting along with an intense roasted flavour that recalled a lightly spiced biscuit baked to golden brown. The coffee has a full body without acidity, making it perfect for waking up with on mornings that call for something slightly less intense than the Dharkan.
This Nespresso Envivo Lungo contained 10 x 5.3 g capsules. It was produced in Switzerland and purchased in Sydney, Australia in 2017.
