This Nudie Nothing But Watermelon, Lychee, Pear & Lime is the second of two flavours after the red dragonfruit variant that Nudie released in time for Lunar New Year in 2020.
The juice is a translucent pink-orange colour with a floral, sweet aroma of watermelon and lychee. Served chilled, watermelon is the dominant flavour with the pear giving the juice an extra dose of sweetness and boosting the viscosity of watermelon juice, which is usually thin and watery. The sweetness gave way to a gentle acidity from the lime in the finish. As for the toted lychee, it’s detectable as a floral note in the aroma, but not in the taste other than as a general sweet acidity.
